Snow Day

We woke up on Sunday to deep snow, and had the lovely treat of a snow day as church was cancelled due to the bad weather. We decided to go out for a walk in the woods...it was so peaceful! No cars about and lots of people out walking enjoying the snow. We met up with my mum and dad at the woods and the kids had fun throwing snowballs! Once we all got a bit chilly we headed back for hot chocolate and cookies, before building a snowman in the garden, making snow angels and having a snowball fight. The kids even went out again before dinner, they had a great time! It was one of those days where I just thought...'I love my life!'
